Reading ool sound

Kaylee and I read a book Miss Pool is Cool then we had to think of all the words we could that had the ool sound.

Soldier-Moment in Time

WALT: Use adjectives (describing words) to make our writing interesting to the reader.
We pretended we were a soldier in the war, using our senses to describe what it was like.

I saw...a donkey being a doctor.
I heard...a shooting gun.
I felt...sad because people were dead.

FANTASTIC ARAIAR'S Reading and Writing

 I am learning to read and write words by sounding them out and writing the letters down that I sound out. Here are my words that I can write by my self. Whaea Nikki did help me with WENT. She sounded out the word and I wrote down the letters.

our hangi

i peeled carrots for the hangi and put them back into the bag.  The veges all got chopped up and cooked in the cooking bags.  We went and played outside while the food was cooking on the hangi.  I liked eating carrots and pumpkin and chicken from our hangi.
